Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

Summary

StackLatte is a local-first application. Your project data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. Nothing is transmitted to any server. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind.

What we store

Storage keyPurposeTypeExpires
eos_projectsYour project, track, and step dataStrictly necessaryUntil you clear browser data
eos_privacy_acknowledgedRecords that you have seen this noticeStrictly necessaryUntil you clear browser data

Both entries are browser local storage (not HTTP cookies). They never leave your device.

What we do not do

  • No analytics or usage tracking
  • No advertising cookies or tracking pixels
  • No data transmitted to any server
  • No user accounts or registration
  • No third-party scripts that collect data
  • No profiling or automated decision-making

Fonts

StackLatte uses the Geist typeface via Next.js' built-in font optimization. Fonts are downloaded and self-hosted at build time no requests are made to Google Fonts or any other external font service when you visit the site.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, and erase any personal data we hold. Because all data is stored locally in your own browser, you can exercise these rights directly:

  • Access & export: use the Export button inside the app to download your data as JSON.
  • Erasure:clear your browser's local storage, or delete individual projects from the app.

Since we hold no data on our servers, there is no central record to request deletion from. All data resides solely on your device.

Legal basis

The browser local storage entries described above are strictly necessary for the application to function. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Recital 47 of the GDPR, strictly necessary storage does not require prior consent. We still display an information notice on first visit in the interest of transparency.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that involve data collection (e.g. analytics or cloud sync), this policy will be updated before those features go live and you will be asked for explicit consent at that time.
